BASILICO
Genoan Classic"FT"
(tested
seed free of Fusarium Oxysporum)
Medium sized plant, wide leaves, slightly curved
and spoon shaped, bright green, strong fragrance
with no mint smell. Ideal for making Genoan pesto,
used as ornamental or aromatic for it's sweet
and delicate fragrance. Early vegetative cycle.
Suitable in moderate climates because of it's
poor resistance to cold: it can be cultivated
at home, in greenhouses or outdoor.

BASILICO Gecom "FT"

Cost.
SAIS
Improved Bageco variety, obtained by selecting
and isolating high essential oil content plants
(75mg/100 g of fresh product at 60 days from sowing,
compared to 50-60mg/100 g of the other varieties
usually cultivated in Italy), mainly containing
linalolo and eugenolo which gives it's strong
fresh fragrance with absolutely no mint smell.
Compared to the classic Genoan variety, it is
a fuller plant with shorter internodes and less
predisposition to stringing. Leaves can be distinguished
for being more rounded. Gecom is very suitable
for growing in vases (8/10/12 cm) as it produces
compact, elastic and regular plants. Vegetable
