Quality control

The quality level is continously checked during the seed production and storage, to the final distribution of the products.


  • Laboratory analysis:
    Our laboratory is based on the I.S.T.A. (International Seed Testing Association) rules and is equipped with the most modern instrumentation, it checks the quality of every single lot of product, variety per variety, guaranteeing very high mechanical purity, satisfactory germination and correct seed moisture to allow the preservation of the germinative property for a long period of time.

  • Phytopathological Analysis:
    Our research centre takes care to verify the immunity from pathogenic transmissible through seeds.

  • Tests after tests:
    Every lot is individually tested in a portion of open field or in a greenhouse to verify the varietal correspondence. The most valued seeds are also tested using electrophoresis techniques, again with the target of checking the correct varietal purity.
